2015 Annual Holidays Open House

1:00pm - 4:00pm

The Hamburg Historical Society's annual Holiday Open House will be held on December 6, 2015 from 1:00 to 4:00 at the Society's museum located at 5859 South Park Road in Hamburg. The Society's Open House will coincide with the Christmas Open House being held at the same time by the Hamburg Antiques Study Group at the Boies-Lord House located next to the museum.

Master story teller and locl author David M. Smeltz will be giving a speech at the museum on Christmas in the Civil War. Smeltz is the author of the Adentures of Sidney Sawyer seriers of books, which is a saga of six novels that cover the Civil War from Bleeding Kansas to Appomattox. There will also be live music at the Open House and refreshments will be served. There will be more information about the Open House in the coming weeks.
